Mrs. Jessica

Mrs. Jessica joined IMA in 2019. She was a natural fit in our Casa classroom with her calm and quiet demeanor. The students were instantly drawn to her and she has proven herself to be a committed team player. Mrs. Jessica studied Educational Sciences in Portugal and has recently completed the Montessori Assistant course, through the Montessori Teachers College in Toronto.

Mrs., Jessica loves how in a Montessori classroom children learn through experience and learn at their own pace. “Children are able to explore their own interests and I like that it is a very calm and natural environment for them. I like the Montessori Casa program promotes the children’s independence, sense of community and language/mathematics skills through sensory work.”

In her spare time, Mrs. Jessica enjoys trying different “DIY’ projects, observing nature, and learning about plants and gardening.
