Ms. Michelle Kuntz
Ms. K has been a part of the summer program at IMA since 2020 and enjoys helping students explore the world around them and learn important life skills that will help them excel beyond the classroom.
Ms. K recently graduated from the concurrent education program at Lakehead University with a major in history. She has always enjoyed working with children and has gained experience through volunteer work in schools and Girl Guides of Canada, as well as being a nanny for families with young children. Through experience, Ms. K has learned the importance of identifying and supporting the individual needs of students to guide the planning of activities that will challenge students, yet make them feel successful. As an educator Ms. K strongly believes that “Our job is not to prepare students for something. Our job is to help students prepare themselves for anything.” ~ A.J. Juliani
In her spare time, Ms. K enjoys working out, fishing, kayaking, and hiking with friends and family. On rainy days she enjoys quilting, sewing, and scrapbooking!
