Each child in our toddler and preschool programs is provided with an individual cot for their rest period of up to two hours in length and they are permitted to sleep, rest or engage in quiet activities based on their individual needs. Our kindergarten students are provided a rest mat and are offered “quiet time” for 30 minutes after outdoor play.
Do the children wear uniforms?
No, we do not have uniforms. We do require parents to buy one IMA shirt for students to wear on field trips and outings so that they are easily identifiable. We also have “spirit days” monthly when students will wear the school shirts.
Meals
Are meals offered?
Our hot lunch program is mandatory and includes a morning and afternoon snack and hot lunch daily.
Can you accommodate my child’s allergies?
Yes, we can! We are a nut-free facility and we can work within the menu and nutritional guidelines to come to an alternative meal plan to allow your child to eat – and eat healthy – while at our Centre regardless of their allergies or dietary restrictions.
Payments & Fees
When is payment due?
Payment is due in full on the 1st of each month or split into two equal payments payable on the 1st and 15th.
How can payment be made?
We accept cash, cheques, email transfers, credit cards (small service fee applies) and can set up Pre-Authorized debits from your account.
Email transfers can be sent to innisfilmontessori@rogers.com and will be automatically deposited (no security questions required).
What if payment is late?
A charge of $20.00 will be added to your account if tuition fees are not received to the school on time. You may also receive notice that childcare services may be terminated by the fifteenth day of the current month.
If a parent needs more time to pay or consideration for financial hardship, they must contact Mrs. Barnard as soon as possible, preferably before fees are due, to arrange a scheduled payment plan and make an immediate payment towards their outstanding account within two (2) business days. Failure to set up a payment plan or meet the conditions of your payment plan may result in termination of services.
Does IMA offer subsidy?
Our center offers subsidy through the County of Simcoe. All subsidy requests must go through the province/region and not through our centers. Please check under the Parent Links for the appropriate subsidy information.
